Volkswagen U.S. Oct. sales jump 17.9% to 20,084

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Volkswagen of America, a subsidiary of Germany’s Volkswagen AG , on Tuesday reported its October U.S. sales rose 17.9% to 20,084 vehicles. It sold 5,464 Jettas in its first full month of sales, the best “non-Cash for Clunker” month for the model since 2005, Volkswagen said.
